Job Title: Director of Human Resources

As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Director to lead our HR initiatives and support our talented team.
Position Summary: The Human Resources Director will play a critical role in shaping the culture, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness of Client Company. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the HR Director will lead all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and HR strategy development.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition and Retention:
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent in alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and career development.
- Employee Relations and Compliance:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues, providing guidance, coaching, and conflict resolution support.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and best practices.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints or grievances in a fair and timely manner.
- Performance Management:
- Design and implement performance management processes and tools to drive employee development, accountability, and high performance.
- Provide training and support to managers in conducting performance evaluations, setting goals, and delivering feedback effectively.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage the design, administration, and communication of competitive compensation and benefits programs that support employee satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure the company's compensation and benefits offerings remain competitive in the market.
- HR Strategy and Organizational Development:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and support organizational growth.
- Lead organizational development initiatives to foster a high-performance culture, enhance employee capabilities, and drive operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in broadline foodservice and / or logistics operations is a strong plus
- Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements in the foodservice or related industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- SHRM or other HR certification preferred.
