Our global and industry leading manufacturing client has an immediate opening for an Operations Excellence Leader (OEL). This individual will lead, promote and facilitate the successful implementation of the company's production system at the local site. Will drive Operational Excellence projects and results (KPI) within the local site to improve efficiency within production and other areas through continuous improvement. This will include:

•  Assist in achieving site KPI`s and Strategic plan objectives
• Drive (Lean) Production System and conduct on-site kaizen events
• Promote and facilitate diagnosis of the flow of work and information to identify improvement priorities, waste and Operational Excellence cost saving projects
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen process and develop other on-site associates in Production System tools and methods
• Evaluate and sign-off other Operational Excellence Leaders or associates for Subject Matter Experts
• Perform benchmarking studies as required
• Drives “best practices” in all areas

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering. Masters degree in Operations Management preferred.
• Deep knowledge in Lean principles, 2-5 years’ experience executing and leading KAIZENs
• Well versed in KANBAN, KAIZEN, Gemba, Daily/Visual Management, 5S, SMED, Standard work, VSM, TPM, etc.
• Production and manufacturing/process engineering experience at GEMBA, Hands on mentality
