This position is responsible for maintaining system generated purchase orders and procuring spare parts for a wide variety of our clients equipment. Duties include purchasing parts from current vendors, assessing new vendors, scheduling delivery, organize logistics and expedite late purchase orders. In collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager constantly and consistently improve product quality, reduce product cost and shorten supply lead-time. Responsible for creating and maintaining required documentation. This position may be required to travel up to 10% throughout the Midwest in order to address supplier disruptions and qualify vendors. The Supply Chain Professional position is a key role requiring an enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems. Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity. Key objectives are the achievement of targeted customer service levels and supplier management.
