This is an opportunity for a physician in Clinical Development, Early Phase. REMOTE Senior Medical Director of Clinical Development for an East Coast client. This is a growing clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company (NASDAQ). They are well-funded, through 2025. This is an opportunity to work with potential best-in-class game-changer assets in an area of large unmet need. The leadership are brilliant, seasoned physician-scientists, leveraging their world-class expertise in a particular therapeutic pathway that is fueling their fusion protein research engine with treatment possibilities. They are looking for a physician to help design and lead Early Phase programs. We are seeking an MD with broad therapeutic development experience to be the clinical leader for a pipeline of products. The SVP hiring manager is therapeutic agnostic to candidate backgrounds. The role will be focused on Early Phase to set the direction and define the strategy for asset development and study execution. This includes an ability to design and lead the conduct of Proof of Concept clinical studies. The company has a number of assets in the clinic, and its discovery engine is advancing. All assets are "home-grown," and they intend to commercialize themselves. This role is highly strategic, designed to be the key development lead on the project team, to help design clinical protocols, and to lead a cross-functional team for execution of studies, as well as interface with KOLs as an SME.
