Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Itasca, IL

Salary Range: $90,000 - $102,000 (Depending on Experience)

Summary of the Job:

The Process Engineer will be a key member of the team responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes with the aim of improving efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires close collaboration with various cross-functional teams to enhance production methods, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless manufacturing system operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop manufacturing processes and systems
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product manufacturability
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflow
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes
• Train and provide support to production staff on new processes and equipment

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
