The Area Manager is responsible for creating & implementing SOPs, training associates on Lean & Root Cause Analysis, implementing equipment reliability & maintenance programs, assisting with CapEx projects, and coaching/developing Superintendents and floor associates.
Position reports to the Plant Manager
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree. Engineering background helps but isn’t required.
- 6-10 years in mfg. 5+ in leadership
- Strong people leadership skills and managed a team of 100
- Process driven attitude & root cause analysis experience
- LSS training & practical application
- Familiarity with equipment reliability & maintenance programs & CapEx projects
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
- $95-110k base
- 3 Medical plans to choose from (Cigna PPO)
- 401k match of 50% on the first 6%
