Overview
We're seeking Hardware Design Engineers with strong circuit & PCB design expertise. You'll be joining a major automotive OEM; building small electronic drives, motors, actuators - key parts controlling fluid flows in engines, transmissions, instrumentation, etc.
Our firm is exclusively recruiting for our client and we'll move fast to promote well-qualified candidates!
Qualifications
- BSEE with at least 3 to 10 years hardware and firmware design experience
- EE's w/ prior experience: electronic assemblies to control BLDC, DC & stepper motors via CAN/LIN interfaces.
- Schematic capture, component selection, and critical PCB placement & routing
- Understanding of optimal motor concepts for automotive actuators
- Undertake DFM and design considerations for thermal management & EMI/EMC
- Familiarity with ASI standards a plus as is ASPICE development methodology
