Overview:
Our client, a growing leader in the M2M remote wireless monitoring industry, seeks a Sales and Business Development Manager for its Eastern US Region. The client company designs, manufactures, and markets products used for remote wireless monitoring of standby and prime power generating systems, heavy construction equipment, mobile fleets and SCADA systems. It also provides the monitoring services associated with its products.
The Position:
- Reports to the CEO who is headquartered in California's San Francisco Bay area.
- Will be located remote from the headquarters, located in the Eastern US.
- Is responsible for:
- Selling all remote monitoring products throughout the client's Eastern US region.
- Identfying, developing, and refining channels to market for all business segments
- Training channel partners and OEM customers, through hands on demonstration, the application, activation and employment of products
- Development of business and sales plans and forecasts
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have:
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
- electric power generator industry
- the heavy construction equipment industry
- the heavy equipment rental industry
- GPS Wireless industry
- A bachelors degree or equivilant experience
- Experience working as a remote salesperson
- Good communication skills
- Good computer skills with the ability to use tools such as Power Point, Excel, GoToMeeting, Skype, etc
Compensation (Salary & Benefits)
Salary:
Base salary, plus a commission plan that will enable successful candidate to realistically earn $130,000 to $150,000 per year, PLUS, as this is a growing young company, the successful candidate will receive a valuable STOCK GRANT!
