Management Team
Mike focuses on senior operations and business development searches. Before joining FPC, he was a plant and general manager for a mid-size manufacturing company and a former employee of GM and Chrysler. When he is not working, Mike enjoys his family and many sports – primarily soccer. Mike earned his MBA degree from Harvard University and a BSIA degree from GMI (now Kettering University).
Key searches – leadership and lean manufacturing for diverse manufacturing companies, consulting firms and performance oriented ventures. Additional leadership searches in supply chain and purchasing for manufacturing and technology firms.
Executive Recruiters
Deb describes herself as the Den Mother for our team given she has the longest tenure. She specializes in building relationships in the manufacturing industry and often supports difficult searches in healthcare. Prior to joining FORTUNE; Debbie worked in the Healthcare industry, Retail Lumber industry and Manufacturing industry. Debbie prides herself on making the perfect match and improving the quality of life for the candidate.
Bina’s charming candor draws candidates and clients to her. Formerly with General Motors, Bina joined FPC of Troy in 1999 and understands all that is involved in the process of hiring and finding new positions. Bina can view the entire picture completely and will stop at nothing to ensure a thorough match of candidate and client.Bina’s recruiting specialty is in roles that require a technical expertise along with a strategic vision and covers functions from new product development and program management to commercial and customer facing roles in sales and new business development.When not recruiting, you will find Bina spending time with her family on Cass Lake during the warmer months, and at the Pilates studio year round! She is big on giving back to the community and is part of a volunteer group that grooms high school children to give back to the community by facilitating services that benefits non-profit organizations such as The Grace Center of Hope in Pontiac and The Forgotten Harvest in Southfield among others.
Lois is a business professional with broad experience in all aspects of recruiting. As a consultant to Fortune 500 businesses she improved their inventory and purchasing functions. Lois has extensive experience in project and contract management including strategic and tactical plan development and implementation. She loves hiking and has three kids competing at university and high school in long distance running too.
Erin is the newest addition to the FPC Troy team. She is focused on finding the best matches for technical positions-mainly engineering and quality as well as some manufacturing management. Before joining the recruiting ranks, Erin enjoyed a 20-year career in engineering as well as extensive time in Program and Launch Management for Blue Cross, (insurance) Thomson Reuters (tech) and various auto companies. At the end of her corporate career she moved into Consulting. This provides her with a well-rounded background to understand all relevant aspects of the manufacturing spectrum. She’s an energetic protagonist (just ask her kids) and an optimistic problem solver. She’s built her own teams and uses her experience building relationships with energy and integrity — facilitating connections between candidates and organizations whose core values and strengths mesh. When not working, Erin loves spending time with her husband and 3 boys, hiking, kayaking, camping and watching their sporting events.

- To service client companies and candidates in a professional and ethical manner.
- To exercise professional judgment in screening and referring candidates for identified positions with clients.
- To refuse job listings that violate equal employment laws regarding race, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, color, age, religion, national origin or disability.
- To comply with all state and federal laws dealing with employment issues.
- To insist upon thorough job specifications in order to understand and meet the exact needs of the client.
- To describe the specifics and requirements of the job to the candidate in accordance with the consultant’s best understanding of the opportunity at hand.
- To thoroughly assess all candidates as to their ability to perform the specific job functions, and to refer only those candidates whose credentials appear to be a reasonable match to the client’s job description.
- To divulge all pertinent information, within legal boundaries, to the employer regarding anything that may affect the candidate’s ability to do the job.
- To accurately transmit to the client all relevant information obtained from a candidate about his or her background, expertise, motives, objectives and earnings history—but only with prior permission from the candidate.
- To be an effective and objective liaison between employer and candidate in assisting each party to evaluate the other’s strengths and weaknesses.
- To always keep in mind the candidate’s career needs. He or she deserves an honest, ethical approach concerning career opportunities, including confidential and discreet handling of credentials and privileged information.
- To be sensitive to the goals and needs of candidates. If unable to help them, to do the best to recommend them to an appropriate source.
- To avoid making representations or promises that cannot be supported by facts.
- To help candidates, to the best of our ability, avoid employers with documented histories of unstable financial, unethical, or illegal, employment or business practices.
- To never withhold information that is detrimental to the candidate.
- To refer candidates only to bona fide positions that have been discussed with all parties.
- To avoid actions or advice that might jeopardize a candidate’s position with his or her current employer.
- To advise all candidates to avoid giving notice or leaving their current employment until all stages of the hiring process are complete.
- To view all FPC offices as partners in the employment process.
- To act in good faith within the system, and to promote the good name and reputation of FPC throughout the business and professional community.
