Formerly known as F-O-R-T-U-N-E Personnel Consultants, FPC has set a distinguished standard for leadership and quality since 1959. FPC of Hilton Head upholds a commitment to integrity, honesty and professionalism in executive recruiting.
Since 1992 FPC of Hilton Head has developed an extensive network of candidates and companies while working in the medical device, pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Our office works with industry leaders, as well as exciting startup companies. Meet The FPC Hilton Head Team
Management Team
David J. Ducharme founded the FPC of Hilton Head office in 1992. His areas of recruiting expertise are Quality and Regulatory Affairs professionals in the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industries. Searches are conducted from the Vice President to Engineer or Associate level on a contingent or retained basis. David is a member of American Society of Quality (ASQ) and Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS). Over the years he has established relationships with client companies and candidates based on trust, professionalism and performance. He served on the Board of Advisors of FPC Franchise. He is a graduate of McGill University, Montreal, Canada and a former professional European hockey player.
Executive Recruiters
Rob heads up our Engineering recruiting efforts both in Research and Development and Manufacturing/Operations. This would include engineers and executives whose backgrounds cover medical device concept formation through commercialization. He has placed Software, Electrical, Mechanical and Systems Engineers with some of the top companies in the US as well as Management professionals up to and including the VP level. He has been recognized by FPC National as a top performer among recruiters across the nation.
Rob joined FPC of Hilton Head directly from the world of collegiate athletics where he was a recruiter and coach. He has served both Waynesburg University of Pennsylvania and Urbana University of Ohio. He was widely regarded as one of the most successful small college coaches in the country, accumulating over 500 collegiate wins in his 23 year career. Rob was able to bring great athletic talent together with academic excellence. His teams achieved a 99% graduation rate and were consistently ranked in the top 20 nationally for academic performance. Rob received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ohio University.

To exercise professional judgment in screening and referring candidates for identified positions with clients.

To be sensitive to the goals and needs of candidates. If unable to help them, to do the best to recommend them to an appropriate source.
To avoid making representations or promises that cannot be supported by facts.
To help candidates, to the best of our ability, avoid employers with documented histories of unstable financial, unethical, or illegal, employment or business practices.
To never withhold information that is detrimental to the candidate.
To refer candidates only to bona fide positions that have been discussed with all parties.
To avoid actions or advice that might jeopardize a candidate’s position with his or her current employer.
To advise all candidates to avoid giving notice or leaving their current employment until all stages of the hiring process are complete.
