Meet The FPC Decatur Team
Management Team
David opened the FPC-Decatur Professional Recruiting Franchise in June, 1997 after 30 years in Manufacturing as an HR Management Professional working with Fortune 500 Companies. The FPC-Decatur Office works with a variety of Industries including: Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Building Materials, Aerospace, Refinery, Alternative Fuels. FPC-Decatur is “full service” Recruiting Firm. Recruiting all the Work Disciplines of a Manufacturing Organization: all Engineering; Maintenance; Management from GM, VP, Director, Plant Managers downward; EHS; Supply Chain/Logistics; Finance; Quality; HR; R&D; IT. David specializes in Recruiting Management, Finance, HR, IT while the other Recruiters in the Decatur Office specialize in the previously stated Work Disciplines.
Marylyn Harris
Owner
Co sharing ownership with husband David for over 25 years. Marilyn is responsible for all the Administration duties and all the Financial Duties. Marilyn enjoys her Bridge Clubs, Garden Club, Reading, some traveling, and her Grand-mothering duties. She is a graduate of Jacksonville University where she majored in Business. She and husband David have been married for 54 years and have two sons and 3 grandchildren plus two grand-dogs.
Began my recruiting career in March of 2002 and have since enjoyed meeting many wonderful hiring managers, candidates, fellow recruiters and creating a vast network of fantastic professionals. Efforts are focused in the Environmental, Health, & Safety and Quality arenas. My recruiting style was formed in the early months when a mentor advised “never over promise and under produce.”. With that committed to memory I work hard on each and every position matching company requirements with applicable candidate skills. Understanding the key factors of making a successful long-term placement, such as; technical skills, geography, economics, experience, education, relocation, family, future growth, etc.…leads to what has become a rewarding recruiting career. Executive Recruiters
Hiram Crisler joined Fortune Personnel Consultants – Decatur, AL in October 2018 as the Engineering and Manufacturing Professional Recruiter Specialist. Prior to FPC-Decatur, Hiram spent over 20 years in Electronic Sales and Program Management for the Automotive Industry and another 7 years as Industrial RC Sales and Marketing Manager for an international contract manufacturing company. Hiram’s key strengths include Management and Technical Sales experience along with Technical Recruiting experience. As a graduate of The University of Alabama in Huntsville, Hiram received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and served as UAH Ambassador and member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Hiram and Wife, Roxane, reside in Decatur, AL along with their son’s, Brodie and Aidan. In his spare time, Hiram enjoys Highschool Football and the Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team and is a self-proclaimed Mr. Fix-It!
I started my career in recruiting in the spring of 2023. In a previous life I worked in sales in the Wine and Spirits industry for 23 years where I garnered multiple Salesman of the Year awards as well as traveled around the world. I’ve taken that success in sales and people management and translated it into the field of recruiting. I will be leading our Supply Chain/Procurement recruiting efforts. My decades of experience in sales combined with a passion for excellence and service will transition nicely into the industry.

To be sensitive to the goals and needs of candidates. If unable to help them, to do the best to recommend them to an appropriate source.
To avoid making representations or promises that cannot be supported by facts.
To help candidates, to the best of our ability, avoid employers with documented histories of unstable financial, unethical, or illegal, employment or business practices.
To never withhold information that is detrimental to the candidate.
To refer candidates only to bona fide positions that have been discussed with all parties.
To avoid actions or advice that might jeopardize a candidates position with his or her current employer.
To advise all candidates to avoid giving notice or leaving their current employment until all stages of the hiring process are complete.
