I'm assisting a top supplier of injection molded components top grade a leadership role in support of succession planning.
Why this is a great opportunity:
- Site leadership and C-Level looking to pipeline talent to GM role. Their goal is to promote to GM in 6 months so that the current GM can take on new responsibilities.
- New leadership dedicated to growth by improving execution and daily management. Proven track record. Already on track to 2x a key plant in Michigan.
- Will lead managers of Production, Maintenance, Automation, Tool and Die shop orgs. Total of 250 or so associates
- Customer base is diversified, automotive , appliances, and others: supports multiple career paths & financial stability
- Opportunity for career mentorship and networking
What they are looking for in a candidate:
- Promotable to GM in 6 months maybe 12 months max. This is the #1 requirement.
- #1 priority hire in the company
- Experience leading a medium sized plant. P&L would be nice.
- Probably has been part of a successful turn around
- High sense of urgency, edge, adept at energizing others
- Automotive preferred. Though is a non-automotive plant , it's a good background
- BSME or similar. Engineering degree preferred. MBA would be nice.
