The EHS & Compliance Manager will provide strategic direction and oversight for the organization's Environment, Health, Safety, and Regulatory Compliance across multiple locations and states. This role includes managing EHS programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and overseeing risk management initiatives related to OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA Good Manufacturing Practices, and other regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead compliance training and reporting to regulatory agencies
Implement a new EHS management system to enhance safety and foster continuous improvement
Develop comprehensive training programs on health & safety regulations
Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and industry standards
Monitor KPIs and report to executive leadership
Manage risk and implement compliance solutions
Facilitate audits and regulatory inquiries
Develop and oversee incident reporting and CAPA program management, DMS/SOP, and OSHA/Federal Compliance reporting
Implement EHS Compliance Inspection & Auditing program
Collaborate with HR on RTW program and Workers’ Compensation
Analyze accident reports and establish root cause analysis
Lead compliance efforts for local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Occupational Health & Safety, or Process Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of experience in EHS Compliance programs
Experience in manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/3PL
Certification in ISO, cGMP, HACCP, HAZMAT/DOT, or other related areas
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
