Our client is seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator/Data Engineer/Data Analyst with an active Secret Clearance to support them and their government customer in Huntsville, AL. They are currently offering a $5,000.00 bonus for this position. Position Overview: Senior System Administrator/Data Engineer/Data Analysts are expected to lead and assist with contract support in their specialized area and interface with the Cybersecurity Branch and other leadership entities, Contract Services and Project Managers. Responsible for all Cybersecurity related activities. Support modernization efforts which are embedded within the Operations, Maintenance and Sustainment staffing plan. This is to allow seamless communication and collaboration between O&M staff and modernization efforts.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Direct System Administration activities at APC/LPC/Data Center locations.
• Responsible for all duties performed by Mid-Level SA in addition to oversight of activities.
• Directs and monitors installation, configuration, and consolidation of servers and services.
• Monitors hardware performance and disk storage levels.
• Manages and coordinates system administration actions required of APC, LPC, and Data Center system administrators.
• Primary Documentation point of contact and responsible for updating all schematics, configurations, redlined drawings, metric reports, Requirement documents for new or lifecycle replacements or expansions and provides briefing data for performance metrics.
• Works closely with the Project Manager to schedule and execute milestone requirements.
• Directs installation and configuration of non-Enterprise servers and monitors performance.
• Performs software upgrades for all applications residing on APC/LPC/Data Center servers.
• Directs and assists other SAs in troubleshooting and resolving system problems and hardware failures.
• Conducts technical assistance visits, as required.
• Works with Information Assurance (IA) technicians to mitigate vulnerabilities, report IAVAs, STIGS, and patches and develops POA&Ms for applications.
• Enable to compile code and use available tools to scan code for vulnerabilities.
• Should have advanced working knowledge of C#, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, .NET Framework, vbScript, XML, while working within a DoD environment.
• Should have experience working on various IT projects.
• Familiar with technologies such as Apache Tomcat, Globalscape SFTP, Active Directory, RedHat Enterprise Linux, VMware ESXI 7.0+, Windows Server 16/19+, SCCM, WSUS, Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, Advanced PowerShell, Enviromux, Cohesity, IIS, MS SQL.
• Lead solution design and architecture reviews; Develop, document, and implement: Data models for transactional systems and/or reporting solution and dashboards.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• BS in Computer or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Management or Computer Information Systems (MIS or CIS) or 72 months related experience specific to the requirements above.
• Security+ CE, and 2 OS Level Certifications to obtain elevated rights.
• Active Secret Clearance

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
