Vice President of Business Development
 

Our client is a leading provider of electronic products and manufacturing services to companies that build high reliability electronic products.

The Vice President of Business Development, working closely with senior management and the business development team, will provide leadership in the planning, designing and implementation of business plans, defining strategies and tactics for the sales team in order to grow and generate business for the company

Responsibilities

  • Will lead, manage and direct of the activities of the business development team
  • Expert presentation of the group's services via telephone and face-to-face communications
  • Will work, personally, to develop and secure new business.
  • Interface with prospects at the appropriate contact level with a focus on management and executive management
  • Maintain an aggressive customer contact and visit schedule promoting the groups services
  • Maintain and sustain business relationships, close deals and drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work to expand companies service and product portfolio
     

Experience/Requirements

  • 5+ years selling Electronics Manufacturing Services
  • 5+ years experience selling to high mix / low volume accounts including medical, industrial, defense, aerospace, telecommunications accounts
  • 5+ years managing a sales team
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • BS degree
