Chemical / Plastics Senior Sales Executive
Our client, a key player in the chemical industry, has a Chemical / Plastics Senior Sales Executive opening located at their cutting-edge headquarters in the Houston area. Ideal candidate will have 8 plus years of sales experience in the chemical or plastics industry servicing Latin America. The candidate will develop and maintain relationships with current and potential accounts in the global sales territory.
Responsibilities include:
· Work closely with commercial team to identify business development opportunities with
current and prospective clients.
· Meet or exceed corporate goals and objectives in the business units.
· Develop sales strategy to capture increased market share in global marketplace.
· Determine sales strategies necessary to achieve corporate sales goals.
· Work closely with supply chain and production to ensure a timely delivery of products and
services.
· Perform due diligence for new business development opportunities.
· Monitor key competitors’ activities in the chemical industry.
REQUIREMENTS
· Chemistry, Chemical engineering, Biochemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science,
Materials Science, or relevant technical undergraduate degree.
· 10 plus years of experience in chemical / plastics industry.
· 8 plus years experience working in sales supporting chemical
production or distribution.
· Experience working with a global sales team.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to negotiate large complex sales contracts and licensing agreements.
