Our client has an immediate opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer . The successful candidate will provide electrical support to the technical engineering organization within the manufacturing plant. Strong technical skills in electrical troubleshooting, project management, relay coordination, and power system studies are helpful. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Complies with all safety, health, and environmental practices. Maintains work priorities to meet departmental capital and expense goals as well as required project milestone schedules which integrate with the capital project portfolio plan. Routinely consults with various plant department representatives to address and understand specific business needs and management directives required to meet operational goals. Assists in assuring that all plant, corporate, and industry standards and practices are evaluated and met or exceeded so that all systems are properly engineered and maintained. Must be familiar with industrial plant electrical supply and transmission systems as well as instrumentation, DCS control and all process related systems. Works collaboratively with plant departments for evaluation and development of a long term plan for reliable and safe supply of electrical services to maintain plant operations. Provides assistance to the Project/Design Group and Maintenance on electrical and instrument systems to insure that design of equipment and systems meets the intent of corporate and plant design and CPDEP standards. Complies with all Operational Excellence directives and all PSM, MOC and PSI compliance measures to insure that the design and operation of the plant instrument and electrical systems meets or exceeds all requirements. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with seven plus years of directly related experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working on project design teams is desired. Experience working with plant electrical power systems, including preventative maintenance programs, electrical reliability analysis and improvement processes, power monitoring and electrical safe work practices is desired.
