FPC of Hendersonville is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated manufacturing professional for an Operations Manager role. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position leads the production department and their efforts in the safe and cost-effective operation of the facility. This position is responsible for facilitating, directing and controlling as appropriate, all aspects of the production operation to ensure achievement of company’s goals and objectives. This position ensures that the plant is operating in compliance with all regulatory and company policies, procedures and regulations.

 

Salary Range: $110K-$130K

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the Manufacturing department.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to optimize materials, labor, and equipment for production targets.
  • Manage production shutdowns and start-ups for maintenance.
  • Deliver on project objectives within time, cost, and quality constraints.
  • Address and resolve safety issues, including incident reporting and investigation.
  • Ensure team accountability for safety and product quality.
  • Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives to meet annual targets.
  • Provide performance management for direct reports.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success. 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
  • 5-10+ years of management experience in manufacturing.
  • Results-driven leader with strategic thinking and continuous improvement skills.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in KPI management and delivering outcomes.
  • Experienced in forecasting and managing operating budgets.
  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Background in chemical environments and Six Sigma/Lean manufacturing.
  • High ethical standards, dependability, and sound judgment.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required
