FPC is partnering with a manufacturing leader that’s investing heavily in plant performance, process excellence, and innovation. Our client is looking for a Process Engineer II to join their team. This role reports into the Plant Manager and has real influence on how the facility runs day‑to‑day. If you enjoy being hands‑on, solving problems on the floor, and driving continuous improvement, this is worth a look.
Location: Greater Florence, SC
Salary: Up to $100K + bonus (10% target with stretch to 20%)

What You’ll Be Working On
- Improving plant efficiency, process control, and manufacturing reliability
- Leading trials and process optimization efforts
- Supporting troubleshooting and on‑call production needs
- Reducing variation and improving product quality
- Supporting engineering projects, equipment selection, and change management
- Leading root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives
- Participating in HAZOPs, PHAs, and MOCs
What they are looking for
- BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
(Strong early‑career engineers with solid internships will also be considered) - Comfortable working cross‑functionally with operations, maintenance, safety, and automation
- Someone who likes being visible on the floor and owning improvements end‑to‑end
- Currently authorized to work in the United States; employer is not sponsoring visas
