In this role, you will lead the preventive, predictive, and prescriptive maintenance of industrial equipment to ensure seamless production. Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, including transformers, motors (low and medium voltage up to 5kV), lighting, valves, transmitters, alarms, and process control devices.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate industrial equipment such as sensors, motors, and valves; ensure proper functioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Replace faulty components (switches, relays, transmitters, motors) and inspect for defects like wear, burns, or shorts.
  • Conduct calibrations for industrial pressure, level, flow, and temperature devices.
  • Adhere to safety protocols (lockout/tagout, confined space procedures) while working with electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, ownership of issues, and the ability to work independently.
  • Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment to maintain optimal operating conditions.
  • Work at heights using harnesses, scissor, and boom lifts when necessary.
  • Assist in managing spare parts inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Contribute to MOCs, PHAs, and functional reviews.
  • Follow all relevant OSHA, EPA, DOT, DHEC, NFPA, NEC standards, and company policies. 

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Degree/Certification in Electrical/Electronics Technology or Industrial Electrician License. Consideration given to non-degreed candidates with relevant experience.
  • 5 years in Industrial Maintenance.
  • Proficient in monitoring electrical systems and mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret piping, instrument, and electrical drawings, including schematics and blueprints.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting PLCs, relay logic, AC/DC drives, and pump/motor controls.
  • Experience with natural gas, pneumatic, hydraulic, chemical systems, and batching processes.
  • Familiar with 4-20 mA instrumentation, 3-phase motors, transformers, control panels, and wiring.
  • Proficient in using electrical/electronic test equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.
