Summary: This position functions within a team of professionals and reports to the Engineering Manager. The Electrical Engineer IV will lead all aspects of electrical engineering at the plant, overseeing the electrical distribution systems and playing a key role in project engineering and management.
Essential Job Functions:
Ensure operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the plant’s electrical systems
Maintain electrical data, documentation, and drawings
Provide electrical engineering solutions for company's sustainability and energy reduction goals
Design electrical and control components for engineering projects
Support site Controls System Team
Project Engineering:
Support preparation of annual capital budgets
Prepare capital appropriation requests and engineering specifications
Manage construction contracts and contractors
Actively participate in the commissioning of engineering projects
Maintenance Support:
Identify opportunities to improve plant power and control system reliability
Assist maintenance with troubleshooting plant equipment
Support Reliable Asset Management objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
8 years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered Professional Engineering License
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC, AutoCAD, MS Project, CMMS systems
Knowledge of electrical systems in heavy industrial environments
Physical Requirements: The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders and stairs, and working in hot/cold environments while wearing appropriate PPE.
