Job Responsibilities: The Human Resources Coordinator will be directly responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR, Payroll and Benefits administration activities. New operation allowing for HR Coordinator to build the department from ground up. Will have flexible schedule during construction.

  • Develop and propose improvements to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of human resources and safety. Stay current with any changes to HR processes, and ensure changes are implemented appropriately in the plant. Advise employees and management personnel on the interpretation of Company policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Strong recruiting skills needed, recruiting and on-boarding of hourly employees. Training and development of plant employees to include development, implementation, and administration of the training plan.
  • Resolving minor employee issues and conflict resolution.  Conduct investigations with employees as needed and make recommendations based on outcomes.  Recommend and conduct disciplinary actions as required.
  • Administers the benefits program for employees in the plant and assists on benefit related projects for the US.  Responsible for claims management including Short Term Disability, FMLA and the Return-to-Work programs.  Oversee Kronos timekeeping and payroll administration.
  • Coordinates all site recognition and plant social activities and other events designed to increase interaction with employees.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or other closely related degree required.
  • 3+ years of HR experience with in manufacturing required.
  • Applied knowledge of legal requirements and law in regard to employment, recruiting, and payroll.
  • Ability and experience creating HR programs/documentation to include training with a greenfield or brownfield plant.
  • Excellent written, verbal and computer skills (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.) with the ability to establish priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
