Position: Business Development Manager

Salary Range: $120k to $145k

Job Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager will partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and trains our sales professionals. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart.

  • Has experience estimating commercial industrial projects.
  • Read, understand, and comprehend project specifications, drawing, and plans.
  • Manage bid opportunity and generating proposals for sales opportunities.
  • Proactively seeks out, intelligently targets and initiates contact with prospective customers to assess potential leads.
  • Continually develops personal selling skills, acquires industry knowledge, broadens expertise in environmental service offerings and applies them.
  • Leads all phases of business development. Formulates and implements strategic business development priorities, while collaborating cross-functionally with key stakeholders, to achieve measurable objectives in support of strategic and financial goals.
  • Serves as the project lead for strategic network-wide initiatives.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple divisions within the organization.
  • Ability to grow new business partnerships and focus on long term relationships as well as maintain relationship with current clients.
  • Ability to stay within budget of projects focused on profitability.
  • Knowledge of regulations for asbestos, mold, and lead paint.
  • Strong safety culture background. 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance, or closely related degree required.
  • Proven record of sales growth.
  • Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential.
  • Experience in managing sales or marketing teams.
  • Sharp negotiation and networking skills. Organizational skills. Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel 80%.
