Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year + 5-10% Annual Bonus

Reports To: Plant Manager

Salary Range: $80K-$100K (DOE) Bonus: 5%-10%

Summary Of Job:

Seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our Andalusia, AL location. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for leading the production department and ensuring the safe and cost-effective operation of the facility. The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the production operation to achieve company goals while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and direct the Manufacturing department.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize resources for production targets.
• Coordinate production shutdowns and start-ups for maintenance activities.
• Achieve project objectives within specified time, cost, and quality parameters.
• Address safety concerns, incident reporting, and resolution.
• Ensure team members adhere to safety protocols and maintain production quality.
• Develop and implement Manufacturing Cost Savings plans.
• Provide performance management support for direct reports.
• Communicate with customers to align project plans for successful outcomes.

Operations Manager I Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of direct management experience in manufacturing.
• Results-driven leadership approach.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in KPI measurement and achievement.
• Experience in budget planning and execution.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
• High ethical standards, reliability, and ability to make decisions.
• Compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to work in a plant environment with exposure to weather elements.
• Availability for on-call duty and emergency response.

Qualifications:

Education

• Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field.

Experience

• Required: Minimum 5 years of direct management experience in a manufacturing environment.
