Working with a growing small manufacturing client located in northern Virginia that is looking for talent to build the foundation in order to grow and expand their operations. They are searching for a Metallurgy Quality Manager who can take their plant through ISO9001 development and certification while building a stellar quality program. This includes supervising the quality lab, developing young metallurgy and quality professionals, implementing manufacturing excellence methods, etc.
Requirements:
· BS Metallurgy degree
· 5+ years of related heavy manufacturing experience
· Expertise in leading manufacturing plants through ISO9001 development & certification
· Manufacturing supervisory experience
· Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
· Desired - Metallurgy expertise with melted, cast, or forged products
· Desired – CQE certification
· Desired – Lean six sigma manufacturing excellence expertise
