Reporting to the Director of Utilities the Senior Manager Water Operations will lead a team responsible for wastewater treatment, potable water, cooling towers and storm water infrastructure & equipment at this large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of operators and technicians responsible for the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment equipment and systems.
• Accountable for the Water Infrastructure and Wastewater Plant Reliability Program.
• Ensure compliance of water and waste treatment systems.
• Manage and monitor KPIs.
• Responsible for the development of capital projects requirements and business cases to enable Utility Master Plan updates and Sustainability Initiatives.
• Technical representative for internal and regulatory audits.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil Engineering or related degree.
• At least 7 years management of programs and personnel for water / wastewater engineering and operations.
• Knowledge in the design, construction, and operations of water (cooling towers) and wastewater systems.
• Knowledgeable with the chemical and biological processes in water and wastewater treatment with analytical skills to analyze disturbances and adjust.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and cGMPs in an FDA regulated facility.
