Summary
The Program Manager will serve as a key liaison between the company and the customer by developing quotations, customer solutions, and documentation for both new and existing customer relationships. Effective in a team-based environment alongside leaders of other functional areas to deliver a consistently positive experience to each customer. Works closely with sales management on attracting, winning, and retaining customers in the Electronics Manufacturing Industry.
The company is a mid-sized electronics manufacturer with that is privately held, specializing in the A&D, Industrial Controls, Material Handling, and Medical markets, providing end-to-end electronics manufacturing services.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning - Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and schedules
- Resource Management - Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Budget Management - Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
- Risk Management - Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Supplier & Vendor Management - Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, Ensure timely delivery of components and materials
- Quality Assurance - Monitor and Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
- Production Oversight - Coordinate manufacturing activities, including assembly, testing, and quality control
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Collaborate with various departments including engineering, design, procurement, and logistics
- Change Management - Manage changes in project scope, schedule, or requirements
- Documentation & Reporting - Maintain project documentation, including status reports, meetings, and technical documents
- Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
- Regulatory Compliance - Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and certifications
- Conflict Resolution - Foster a collaborative and problem-solving culture throughout customer relationships
- Customer Communication - Act as main point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns, Provide regular updates on project status and address customer feedback
- Team Leadership - Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to team members
- Industry Knowledge - Stay informed about advancements in electronics manufacturing technologies and trends
Qualifications
- 4 years of recent experience in Program/Account Management of a related industry
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Familiarity with MRP systems
- Good understanding of the electronics manufacturing process
- Ability to drive positive results with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills
