Senior Customer Service Manager

FPC Bangor is working with a large specialty paper company looking for a Customer Service Manager.  The Senior Customer Service Manager positions the business to ensure best in class customer service across all business segments with (5) direct reports. 

This position is an in-office position, not remote.

Accountabilities

  • Maintaining a service organization which adds value to our customers' business through a strong commitment to customer care while simultaneously supporting internal objectives.
  • Assure that critical ongoing service initiatives are being managed in accordance with agreed upon goals and objectives
  • Provide the necessary leadership to develop the Customer Service Team to exceed customer expectations by ensuring best in class customer service.
  • Working with the Director-Supply Chain and IPS Manager to make schedule adjustments necessary to achieve shipment plans and inventory goals as outlined in the approved Sales and Operations plan.
  • Maximizing internal manufacturing strategies while maintaining customer service focus.
  • Collaborating on cross mill capacity utilization activities for product development and requalification activities.
  • Analyzing and communicating customer and product requirements through the extended supply chain network (i.e. manufacturing, procurement, logistics).
  • Serve as SME on all IT system testing and implementation activities
  • Consolidate processes across Master Data, Pricing, Order Entry, etc. to integrate acquired businesses.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./ B.S.) from four-year college or university and five to seven years relevant experience; or seven to ten years related experience and/or training.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervisor/Management experience, a MUST.  This job requires extensive supervision, to include both exempt and non-exempt workforce members. The ability to perform appraisals, establish development plans and manage all employee matters is required.
