Join Our Client's Team as a Process Engineer!
Are you passionate about optimizing processes and driving continuous improvement? We’re looking for a talented Process Engineer to make home improvement products -- Role will support our raw materials, compounding, production, and packaging functions at the Dallas plant. Key Responsibilities
Production Support
- Provide daily production support through troubleshooting and experimentation.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet operational requirements and ensure smooth processes.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead projects focused on reducing costs, increasing material utilization, improving first-time quality, and integrating new products/processes.
- Implement changes and update documentation, including drawings and SOPs.
Capital Projects
- Partner with the plant engineer to oversee capital projects that drive plant modernization.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Safety Management
- Achieve and maintain safety goals in engineering and maintenance functions.
- Administer process hazard analyses and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Continuous Improvementt
- Implement and analyze data collection and visual management systems to support the tier meeting process.
Environmental Program Reporting
- Assist with reporting, compliance monitoring, and QA results to support process engineering improvements.
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Six Sigma/Lean manufacturing experience.
- Proficient in process control methods, flowmeters, level monitors, and PLC with ladder logic analysis.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with MS Office Suite (AutoCAD is a plus).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
