The operations manager will manage the manufacturing operations of a fast growing manufacturer of high reliability industrial electronics.  This is a position for a high potential individual interested in rapid professional growth.

Manages a staff of supervisors to ensure timely product distribution is met. Sets priorities for production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply.

Manage the operations function concurrent with:

• Business growth
• Introduction of new operational systems
• Is a key contributor to the overall long range planning and budgeting process
• Operation review, covering current and future forecast and delinquencies
• Reduce cost
• Shorten manufacturing time
• Meeting goals in relation to safety, quality and on-time deliver of products
• Manage and assist in coordinating effort between support departments within the organization
• Upgrading talent within operations to achieve growth and meet market needs

Requirements:

• 5 - 10 years recent experience in operations management within a complex manufacturing operation
• Excellent understanding of electronics manufacturing processes
• Experience with such philosophies as 5S, Kaizen, Poke-a-Yoke, Lean Mfg, 6Sigma, and DFT.
• Proven Track record with staff development. Experience with multi-shift operations in an electronic manufacturing facility.
• Experience in high reliability electronics manufacturing a plus
