Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Planning Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end operations planning, including sourcing, procurement, production, inventory management, and distribution.
This role is critical in ensuring efficient supply chain operations for our diffuser appliances and scent oil cartridges, supporting both production and field service installation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ERP/MRP systems, with a particular focus on Acumatica ERP, and will play a key role in leveraging our system to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operations planning processes, encompassing sourcing, production, inventory management, and distribution.
- Ensure optimal utilization of Acumatica ERP to streamline planning and execution of operational activities.
- Manage procurement and sourcing strategies to maintain an efficient supply chain
- Oversee production scheduling, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and field service requirements.
- Coordinate delivery of equipment and products to support field service installation teams.
- Support the definition and implementation of operational processes and system requirements as we scale operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, manufacturing, and field service teams to optimize workflows.
- Ensure compliance with material management (MRP), quality systems, and total quality management techniques.
- If applicable, manage the implementation of Acumatica’s Field Service module to support field operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in operations planning, supply chain management, or production management.
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems (Acumatica preferred; Oracle or other ERP systems a plus).
- Proven experience in production planning, procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of statistics, total quality management, and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
