Employee & Labor Relations Manager

FPC Bangor is working with a large paper mill looking for a Labor Relations Manager to facility and manage employee relations.

Responsibilities:

·       Maintain, develop and implement program objectives, policies and procedures.

·       Develop and pursue new goals and objectives for improvement

·       Assist management in understanding and implementing company policies

·       Analyze information for union proposals, pay scales and wages, benefits, and working conditions

·       Research & explain laws and legal affairs concerning employment to managers, supervisors and employees

·       Collaborate with legal counsel and represent the company in contract negotiations and grievances

Requirements:

·       BS Employee Relations, Human Resources or related field

·       6 + years of professional human resource administration including employee relations

·       Thorough understanding of human resources, labor relations principles, state and federal laws and negotiation techniques

·       Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, labor officials, and managers

·       Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
