Quality Engineer
Responsibilities
- The Quality Engineer is responsible to provide technical, administrative and supervisory support to company Quality Systems, Process Control Systems and Quality Assurance personnel
- This is a hands-on role, working collaboratively with all staff to build a premiere culture of quality
- This position reports to the Director of Quality
- Work with engineering and production departments to provide technical support and guidance
- Provide technical and non-technical support and training to personnel at all levels related to quality standards
- Perform internal audits
- Support, monitor and improve the ISO9001 & ISO13485 quality system
- Provide direct customer support on quality issues
- Work with the Materials Group and external suppliers to resolve component quality issues
- Monitor, review, evaluate and present quality data from QMS to drive improvements
- Administer and/or support the Corrective/Preventative Action Programs
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (Technical) from four-year College or University and 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, problem resolving skill, PFMEA, ISO9001/13485 and excellent PC skills (especially Microsoft Excel) and IPC600/IPC610/IPC620
