A leading provider of advanced energy solutions is seeking a Sr. Manager, Systems/Applications Design Engineering to drive the architecture and deployment of power and energy systems—focused on battery energy storage (BESS), energy generation, and smart energy infrastructure for commercial and industrial applications such as data centers.
This role blends technical leadership, product and application engineering, and customer engagement. You’ll collaborate across internal teams and with key customers to deliver scalable, high-performance energy systems that align with market demands and industry standards.
What You’ll Do:

Lead the design and rollout of advanced energy systems: BESS, generation, and infrastructure solutions.

Partner with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into reliable, scalable designs.

Oversee system architecture strategy, product development, and implementation across projects.

Ensure compliance with relevant certifications and industry regulations.

Manage cross-functional engineering efforts from concept through deployment and field support.
What We’re Looking For:

10+ years of experience in energy systems (BESS, generation, infrastructure, etc.).

Background in commercial/industrial environments (e.g., data centers, smart energy systems).

Strong systems architecture and program leadership skills.

Familiarity with certification standards (IEEE, IEC, UL).

Strategic thinker who thrives in collaborative, fast-moving environments.
Bonus Points For:

Master’s degree in Engineering or an MBA

PMP or Six Sigma Black Belt certification

P&L, budgeting, or pricing strategy experience

Prior work with smart energy systems, microgrids, renewable energy integration, or grid-tied storage
