Reporting to the Senior Manager Reliability Engineering at this large-scale Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing facility, the Manager, Energy & Sustainability will oversee and drive the development and execution of an Energy and Sustainability Management program to meet the energy and sustainability initiatives of the plant. 
 
Responsibilities:
• Identify strategies to address, measure & verify energy efficiency to reduce waste/carbon emissions.
• Develop and implement a multi-year plan tracking progress towards the sustainability goals and recommend global targets.
• Track, analyze and report on global energy metrics, greenhouse gas emissions, sustainability initiatives including electricity, gas, water, and solid waste reduction and diversion.
• Strategic engagement of internal and external networks to help deliver sound technical decisions.
• Identify and implement energy conservation measures (ECM).
 
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering.
• Relevant experience in Energy Engineering.
• Experience with standard ASHRAE energy calculations and ASHRAE Level 1 and Level 2 audits.
• Knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems, energy & water efficiencies, building management systems, HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, compressed air, Cogen, and pumping stations.
• Excellent technical problem-solving skills & the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Energy Management Certification is a plus.
