Senior Engineer – E&I

FPC Bangor is working with a large paper manufacturer with an urgent need of a Sr E & I Engineer with the project team.  The Sr E&I Engineer will define projects, develop and manage plans and resources.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will utilize complex and varied information resources to anticipate needs, resolve issues and make decisions.  Provides solutions that address business strategy.
• Demonstrate broad knowledge across the business and specialized expertise in several key functional areas.
• Initiate and lead multiple, complex projects, process and teams. 
• Defines department plans based on business strategy and objectives.  Prepares and monitors budgets.
• Assists in the achievement of department goals.  Determines and pursues course of action necessary to achieve results.  Receives broad direction from senior management, work is guided by business goals and strategy.  Acts as advisor to senior management on specialized projects or programs.  Frequently interacts with senior management, industry contacts, and regulatory agencies. 

Requirements

 ·       BS in electrical engineering 

·       Ten or more years’ capital project experience in the pulp and coated paper environment

·       Demonstrated leadership and communication skills

·       Strong management, planning and coordination skills and experience.

·       Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
