Seeking a talented Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) manager to continue a culture of safety for employees, visitors, and contractors, as well as the company's compliance with environmental regulations.
About the Role:
In this role you will develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the safety of the workplace and the environment while building strong safety focused culture.
Responsibilities:
Partner with leadership and employees to ensure Safety is the at the foremost of what we do everyday.
Ensure required records, permits, and reports are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
Implement and advise others on all hazard control programs.
Perform and document job hazard analysis, and coordinate activities to ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
Perform Root Cause Analysis of work-related injuries, illnesses, and near misses.
Monitor medical incident reports from providers and works with Human Resources on workers compensation and return to work programs.
Perform applicable internal audits and inspections of facility and operations.
Train and lead Emergency Response Teams and lead the Site Safety Committee.
Provides the facility with technical expertise in managing Policy and Procedures, LOTO, Inspections and Audits.
Qualifications:
BS in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Required Skills:
5+ years of EHS Manager experience in manufacturing environment.
Thorough knowledge of safety standards, methodologies, and regulations, including OSHA, ANSI, EPA, and NFPA.
