Our food & beverage manufacturing client is seeking a skilled, collaborative Director of Quality for its manufacturing site in KY. Reporting to the VP of Quality Assurance off-site, this leader will be the site head for QA including oversight over its quality and sanitation teams.
Location: Boone County, Kentucky
Compensation: $140-$170 base salary, 15% bonus structure
Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct all aspects of the Quality Assurance and Sanitation Departments.
Assist in management of Food Safety (HACCP/HARPC) Program
Manage spending and budget for location Quality Assurance and Sanitation Department.
Sanitation and CIP expert relative to systems and SSOPs
Lead on-site Quality audits
Requirements:
Minimum of B.S. Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Quality certification including PCQI, HACCP, SQF preferred.
10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Direct experience in food and aseptic processing considered a plus.
