Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and driving the growth of all products and services. The company is an international Electronics Manufacturer that specializes in providing turn-key solutions for customers in Automotive, Military, Marine, Telematics, Railway, and more.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Market Analysis - Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and market trends
  • Sales Strategy - Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share
  • Lead Generation - Identify and target potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending trade shows
  • Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Product Promotion - Promote and explain company products and services to potential clients
  • Proposal Development - Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals
  • Sales Cycle Management - Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
  • Contract Negotiation - Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms
  • Project Coordination - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Market Feedback - Gather and provide market feedback to the product development team
  • Compliance - Ensure compliance with state, federal, and OSHA regulations along with adhering to industry standards and company policies
  • Reporting - Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports to management
  • Cross-functional Collaboration - Collaborate with various departments, including engineering, production, and customer service
  • Industry Knowledge - Stay informed about advancements in electronics manufacturing technologies and market trends
 
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of recent experience in Sales or Business Development of a related industry
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in related field (Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology)
  • Strong technical understanding of the electronics manufacturing process
  • Ability to drive positive results with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel domestically 25%
