Our food manufacturing client in greater Indianapolis is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee and enhance QC processes, ensuring their products consistently meet high standards. Working for an exponentially growing company within a tight-knit family environment, you'll manage a team, implement effective quality strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 7-12 quality control professionals.
Perform food safety risk assessments and develop control strategies.
Collaborate with R&D, operations, and customer service teams to integrate quality standards across the organization.
Conduct audits, inspections, and data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards (e.g., cGMP, HACCP, SQF).
Act as a quality resource for new product testing, operational issues, and process improvement.
Qualifications:
5-15 years of food production quality control experience
BS/MS in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Proven track record in implementing quality strategies and driving continuous improvement.
Familiarity with quality control tools, software, and regulatory standards (cGMP, HACCP, SQF).
