Our well-known manufacturing client is looking to raise the bar for their operations improvement efforts. We’re recruiting for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager (with manufacturing experience) for their Cleveland facility.
The Manager of Continuous Improvement is responsible for driving operational excellence across three manufacturing sites. Using the principles of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, this position will develop and implement a Lean Operations Strategy in addition to providing support to the plant managers, mentoring and training operations personnel, and establishing and monitoring key KPIs across the business.

Main Responsibilities:
-Lead Lean projects across the business.
-Challenge conventional thinking by evaluating and setting stretch targets to drive the organization to growth opportunities.
-Support diverse teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
-Develop transformative "best practices" to drive improved productivity and scalability.
-Collaborate with leaders across operations and engineering to identify and deploy meaningful KPI's.
-Facilitate and drive process improvements, efficient plant layouts, quality, cost, and safety, using Lean methodologies.
-Value stream map processes to identify/eliminate waste..
Main Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree
-Target 10 or more years of recent manufacturing experience in a plant environment
-Certification or Training in Lean and/or Six Sigma. Black Belt certification is a plus.
-Significant Lean / Six Sigma experience and knowledge of the associated analytics.
-Strong experience developing and implementing continuous improvement programs
