This is a full-time onsite mechanical engineering role for someone with experience in chillers, HVAC&R, refrigeration, heat transfer, or other complex thermal/mechanical systems.
The position is focused on marine and water-cooled chiller systems, including centrifugal systems, and plays a key role in next-generation product development. It is a strong fit for an engineer who wants meaningful design ownership, visible project work, and the chance to work on technically complex equipment used across commercial and defense-related applications.
What you’d be doing
- Lead and support development of marine chiller systems
- Design and engineer HVAC&R equipment, including sizing and component selection
- Support new product development as well as legacy product improvements
- Create drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Support testing, qualification, and production readiness
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience designing chiller systems, ideally centrifugal water-cooled chillers
- Strong understanding of chiller system operation
- Experience leading engineering projects and developing new systems
- Background in HVAC&R, refrigeration, heat exchangers, or related mechanical equipment
