Our highly respected client desires an experienced Sales Manager (with home or buildings products experience) for their Morristown, TN area customers.

Due to their past growth and plans for future development, this company is embarking on a journey to expand and grow their footprint within the building products markets.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary, performance bonus and many other generous benefits.  This is a regional business development role, so remote location is fine - there will likely be consistent travel 1x/week by car to build relationships. 

Position Summary: The Sales Manager manages the daily execution of business development, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objective.

Duties / Responsibilities:

·       Coaches team in best practices and effective tactics for prospecting new markets, partners, channels, and customers
·       Develop a world class sales strategy for the interior door brand
·        Establishes team targets and metrics to measure the achievement of objectives
·        Develops and uses contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes
·        Makes suggestions for new product offerings or improvements to sales or marketing efforts.
·        May administer or negotiate new business proposals and prepare contracts.
·       Ensures that project/department milestones are met and adhering to approved budgets
·        Conduct visits to existing customers to identify opportunities for improving processes


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in sales of home building products required
  • 5 years of proven success in sales
  • Must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with company personnel, distributors, retail customers and state and local authorities and other third-party personnel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Contract Management experience
  • Experience in customer service and building customer relations in ERP systems, Oracle experience a plus
