The Program Manager will work directly with clients and internal cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet the project scope, timelines, and budget. The PM will manage efforts with multiple, related projects that are linked to strategic corporate initiatives. The PM will work with internal stakeholders to evaluate, execute, and deliver products for the company’s portfolio, manage risks, set and communicate expectations with stakeholders (internal and external), lead programs, and work with the Product Development team to continuously evaluate and refine internal processes and operating models. Overseeing all aspects of projects, the PM will set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, and report on project progress. As the local Huntsville representative, you will develop and maintain relationships with local community leaders, vendors, and partners aimed at advancing company work. This position will report to the VP of Operations with dotted-line reporting to the Director of Program Management.
Qualifications
v Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
v Excellent written and verbal communication skills
v Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
v 10+ years professional experience
v Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Management, Engineering, or relevant technical degree)
v Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
v United States Citizenship
Key Responsibilities
v Manage operations in the Huntsville office
v Help support local recruiting efforts in the Huntsville area
v Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
v Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
v Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
v Ensure resource availability and allocation
v Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
v Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs
v Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
v Meet with clients to clarify project requirements
