Team is looking for business development specialists with experience building relationships in fields of either on/off highway and medium/heavy duty, Tier 1 automotive, or E-mobility / E-powertrain fields. Looking for those with experience building new business relationships and have strong backgrounds working autonomously.
Responsibilities:
Support Business Development team's interactions with oil companies, additive suppliers, and/or heavy-duty on-road and off-highway, and/or E-Mobility and electric powertrain clients
Provide Business Development and Account Management support
Cold / warm introductions through project obtainment and voice of the customer
Support identification and development of new business opportunities
Support engineering team to identify and meet customer requirements
Ability to establish new relationships and build current relationships
Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Understand the customer organization(s)
Support trade shows, congresses and exhibitions from a business development and staffing perspective
Qualifications:
Requires a BS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
Engine, transmission and / or vehicle testing background is a plus
Chemical engineering / chemistry background a plus
A BA degree in Business will be considered if business experience strongly supports technical competence
At least 1-2 years of relevant business development and sales experience in the described markets is desired, but not required
Candidate must have strong communication skills
Ability to develop and support detailed technical presentations to customers
Exceptional written / oral English skills and the ability to support detailed and clear quotations and proposals to customers.
Ability to function in a matrixed, team organization with minimal supervisor
